How’s your weekend going?
We had brunch with friends yesterday and are going to an art show this afternoon that features one of the moms in L’s preschool class. And hopefully squeezing in a nap, too! Right now I’m heading out the door for our first new Moms RUN This Town meet up run!
I also participated in the 5 day reset this week with the Urban Detox Club and I’ll give my full report tomorrow- I had some surprising results! Workouts this week:
Sunday: 3 recovery run after Saturday’s 5k plus push ups
Monday: 30 Day Shred Level 3
Tuesday: 3o minute spin with intervals
Wednesday: am- Synergy Yoga (awesome!) + pm 6 mile run (8:35 pace)
Thursday: 6.5 miles at the track with 2000m x 4 (or about 8 minutes hard) 6:38 pace for each with 2 minute rest intervals
Saturday: 3.5 with the stroller + 2 rounds of (kettlebell swings, push ups, walking lunges, squat+press)
My meal plan for the week:
Monday: Baked Ziti + Spinach Avocado Orange Salad
Tuesday: Orange Beef and Broccoli Stir fry
Wednesday: Homemade Sushi (both girls love this!)
Thursday: Black Beans in the crock pot + sauteed greens
Friday: Preschool End of Year Potluck
Saturday: Leftover Black bean burritos with peppers, avocado, salsa, spinach + cilantro
