Hey, it’s Sunday again! How’s your weekend going?
Our Saturday was quieter than usual without soccer this week, so we got caught up on household chores and had friends over last night for dinner. It also rained all morning which made for an interesting long run! Today, we have a potluck at L’s school after church, and just like that, the weekend will be gone.
My training went well this week. I guess I can call it that now? I think I’m officially switching into “training” mode- I even wrote out my plan for the next 3-4 months leading up to the Houston marathon in January. Here’s the recap:
Sunday: 30 minute strength workout
Monday: 6.5 mile run (in 51 minutes)
Tuesday: 45 minute elliptical/strength combo
Wednesday: 6.5 mile run with 4 x 800 at the track (not all out, as I “raced” just 4 days earlier, but my paces were 6:59, 6:53, 6:44, 6:42)
Thursday: took baby J on an easy 4 mile stroller jog + core
Saturday: 12 miles in rain! ave 9:30 pace
Here’s our meal plan:
Sunday: Potluck (taking my husband’s sourdough bread)
Tuesday: Steak Fajitas + Guacamole
Thursday: Mediterranean Pasta
Friday: Possible travel day
Saturday: In PA for family birthday celebrations!
