How’s your weekend going?
I was happy to receive this in the mail yesterday:
After crossing the finish line, I was so happy to see my husband there that I totally missed the medals! It never crossed my mind until we were in the car heading home. I really didn’t expect I’d get it without proof, but the amazing folks at Stonyfield pled my case for me. 🙂 I’m usually not one to care about the bling, but this was one I wanted!
On the workout front, I’m still taking it easy with running and enjoying mixing up the routine with more strength work again:
Sunday:First post-Boston run, 4 miles (8:30 pace)
Monday: Cathe Supersets DVD + 30 minute walk
Tuesday: 4 mile run (7:11 pace) with short 30 second speed bursts
Wednesday: Jillian’s NMTZ DVD + 30 minute double stroller walk
Friday: 4 easy run (no watch)
Saturday: yard work!
And I have a 5k this morning that I am completely untrained for, but it will give me an idea of where my speed fitness is at- even though I already know it’s not where I want it to be!
The Spring Reset ladies are continuing to inspire me. I love hearing their successes and challenges. It’s so nice to all be in this together.
My meal plan for the week:
Monday: Shrimp Veggie Kebabs
Tuesday: Greek Cucumber Tomato Salad + Pork Tenderloin
Wednesday: Grilled Salmon, Eggplant, Zucchini + Mushrooms over quinoa
Thursday: Mango Chicken Lettuce Wraps (again- yum!)
Saturday: Cauliflower Fried “Rice”
Sunday: Out for Mother’s Day
