Workout Recap + Meal Plan

Hi friends!

I’m writing from Houston, where we’ve been for four days.  We head home tonight over bedtime- fingers crossed that both girls sleep!

We booked our flight several months ago before Julia was walking and forgot how difficult it is to keep a busy toddler happy on a long flight.  But we made it!  And it’s been a great few days of catching up with old friends (and running buddies!) and reminiscing about the two years we spent here.

For only living here two years, we made a lot of wonderful connections.  Maybe it’s the warm, hospitable southern thing?

Monday: 30 minute weight circuit + 3.5 mile run with a health coach client

Tuesday: 5 miles with 3.5 at 7:25 pace

Wednesday: 30 minute strength + spin class

Thursday: 6 mile exploratory Houston run

Friday: off

Saturday: 9 mile run at Memorial park with old running buddies

I’m still enjoying running for fun- no crazy paces… just doing what feels good.

Meal Planning

Sunday:  Potluck with friends + travel

Monday: Freezer food dinner: burgers/veggie burgers; sweet potato fries and broccoli

Tuesday:  Crock pot Turkey Sweet Potato Chili

Wednesday: Thai chicken lettuce wraps

Thursday:  Leftovers

Friday: Family pizza night

Saturday: Creamy Garlic Lemon Chicken + Smashed Kale Avocado salad
