Workout Recap and meal plan

I’m in countdown mode this week.  Six days of cramming in as much as I can and then we’re off for a Memorial day weekend trip with extended family (Pittsburgh area) and a baby moon at the bay. Other than the long car ride, I can’t wait!

This weekend I’m at Integrative Nutrition’s Live conference in NYC, so I’ll keep this short and sweet with my workout recap and meal plan for the week.  I hope to share more on the conference this week, as it’s been incredible.  Yesterday the highlight for me was Mark Hyman on why our culture is so overweight and what we can do about it.  Plus so many other inspiring speakers.

Anyway, workouts at 29 weeks (full 29 week pregnant update coming tomorrow):

Sunday: 4 mile run, 1 mile walk

Monday: 40 minute spin + upper body heavier weights at the gym

Tuesday: 5 mile run – getting slower and harder, but still feels good to get out there

Wednesday: am spin class + pm Pilates (really trying to squeeze Pilates in once/week for all of these reasons)

Thursday: 5.25 run

Friday: Off!

Saturday:  30 minute full body strength circuit + a few walks around NYC

I normally run on Saturdays, but I was happy with my three runs for the week and wasn’t feeling it.  Running is becoming a bit less enjoyable as I explained on Friday so I’m going by feel day to day.

For the meal plan this week:

Sunday:  Crock pot chickpea stew


Monday: One of these breakfast recipes: leaning toward the Portobello Breakfast Cups



Tuesday: Chicken Fajitas with guacamole

Wednesday:  Tofu Stir Fry with all of our CSA veggies



Thursday:  Leftovers

Friday: Flatbread pizzas with artichokes and feta cheese (peppers, mushrooms and mozzarella for my 4yo)

Saturday: Off for our Memorial Day trip!

    • There are a number of programs out there- I’m partial to IIN, obviously. :) Btw, as I mentioned to Angela- they’ve given me discount codes for others interested in enrolling, so let me know if it’s something you decide to pursue!
