Over the past few months, I’ve been given the opportunity to try some great brands, including Saucony’s sneakers (for myself and L) and the BOB Ironman stroller.
How adorable are these?
I was thrilled to get these in the mail! I rarely buy shoes for L and have never bought her sneakers, as we’ve received so many hand me downs and it’s insane how quickly she grows out of shoes.
But these have been perfect for her to use at the parks, playgrounds and preschool. Her feet are happy in them, and she loves the splash of pink and having running shoes like mama!
Here’s a bit more about Saucony’s kid shoe philosophy:
Saucony Kids is designed with Saucony DNA but engineered with Stride Rite know how. The look and feel you love about your Saucony’s, your kids can feel and look the same with what we like to call “kid-rite” design.
Kid-rite design means that all our shoes are specifically designed for the healthy development of a child’s foot vs. just shrinking down the adult version. This allows us to have an ultra-flexible outsole that is durable for little ones who are off and running and appropriate technical elements for older kids who maybe already be running faster than you. Plus, the brand features various closures across the collections (lace, hook & loop, z-strap) and multiple widths from medium to XXW.
I was also sent a pair of Saucony’s for myself (Saucony Ride 6):
These came at just the right time. I was doing a lot of running in more minimal-ish shoes, including the Virratas, but my feet have appreciated a bit more cushioning and support to mix in with my lighter flats.
Before L was born, we bought the BOB Revolution which we LOVE. The Ironman is an even smoother ride with 16 inch wheels for road or trails. It still folds up easily and the front wheel can be removed.
The biggest difference is that the Revolution has a swivel front wheel and is a 12 inch wheel, so it’s better for quick maneuvering around a store or outing. The Ironman is ideal for runners. More info on both can be found on their website or Facebook.
Two other shout outs- the current sponsors on my side bar are:
