Run Rise Retreat Recap

This weekend is not easy to summarize.  I’ve gone to a lot of blogging conferences and events, but this retreat was completely different.

It was perfect.  The pace was relaxed and full of fun activities but not over-scheduled. The setting was stunning.  And best of all, it was a warm, inviting group of women.  No one trying to prove themselves or playing the popularity game.  Just kind, genuine women with time to connect over running and beyond.

Have you ever run a race with a group of friends?

  1. I’ve been trying to put into words the amazing experience from the weekend but there really aren’t any. It was definitely more about actions. We all genuinely care about each other. We listened. We laughed. We just enjoyed the presence of each others company. I’m so glad we got to hang out a little more. I can’t wait to we see each other again!
