We made it through October! Thanks to all of you who have been participating and linking up your meal plans. Since a number of you expressed interest in keeping it going, Jill and will continue to host the link up on Sundays. Everyone is welcome to jump in and participate at any point!
This will be an unusual week, as it’s an extra busy one for the daddy bear, so it will only be L and I for dinner on Wednesday and Thursday. Like last week, that makes me much less motivated to cook. We’ll have whatever leftovers are still in the house, or make something fast and easy.
There is no prize this week. Last week’s winner of FlavorDoctor spices was Candy… congrats! Send us an email with your address.
Finally, the Circle of Moms contest is almost over, and if you can take a second to vote, I would really appreciate it. If you’re really ambitious, you can vote once a day through the end of October:

I was just thinking of stuffed peppers
Leftovers are always great on busy days.

I was going to do fish tacos last week but forgot to add them in for this week. Might have to change that…

It is always hard to find the motivation to cook for just me and the kids. But with the amount my husband is gone, things would get unhealthy really fast if I didnt force myself to cook when hes gone. At least my 4 year old can say thank you and give some appreciation now

Do you have a recipe for the homemade pizza dough or do you buy one of the ready made ones? Ive always wanted to try a homemade pizza.

I had a lot of fun doing the link up, even though I missed it this week! I love getting new recipe ideas from others! This week is another veggies and fruits and leftovers week. My Mom is coming this weekend and so I wanted to kind of clean out the fridge to make room for new things!

Thanks for your encouragment Laura. I am glad to read this post, Sunday’s are the best day for me to plan the menu and we always eat healthier and spend less when I do. Great challenge.
Love the menu planning idea! And pop chips. I always eat better when I plan ahead.
