What a gorgeous fall weekend here! We have another set of friends visiting this weekend (and their two kids) so it’s been the perfect weekend to get out and enjoy the weather.
I pushed my long run back to today so that I could more fully enjoy our Saturday together. Next Sunday is my half marathon. I haven’t raced a half since the spring and I’m getting excited!
Sunday: 8 recovery miles, 9:20 ave pace
Monday: XT: 45 minutes elliptical + arms/core
Tuesday: 8 mile run with a few 6 minute bursts at 6:45 pace
Wednesday: 5 easy miles + 1 hour spin
Thursday: NMTZ (strength)
Friday: 10 mile track workout with 3 x 1600s (6:37, 6:25, 6:35) This was TOUGH after strength the day before, but I pushed through.
Sunday: Long run (12-16)

For those of you who have been doing the monthly detox, we’ll cut out sugar for the week beginning next Monday. I feel like I say this every month, but I really need it again!
Sunday: Breakfast for dinner + Anne’s Pumpkin Pie smoothie
Tuesday: Garden Fritters + Green salad
Wednesday: Baked Lemon Fish, rice and roasted veggies
Thursday: Slow Cooker Chicken Cacciatore
Saturday: Not sure, but at some point I need to make this Pumpkin Pecan Granola!
