How was the extra long weekend? I wish we had 3 days every weekend… it was so nice to get to Sunday night and know that we had another whole day to take it easy. We had friends over on Saturday, a play date Sunday, and met friends at a park for a picnic last night.
It was a great mix of social time, down time and gorgeous weather!
Yesterday, I met a new running buddy for a 5 mile run- woohoo!! She is also relatively new to this area and we are nearly identical in terms of pace. We also both lived in Lancaster (at different times) and have a lot more in common than we expected. We even began talking about co-hosting a new local Moms Run This Town chapter as the closest one is 30 minutes away.
I’m thrilled to have connected with her!
In the last few months, I’ve also connected with Rebecca and Jen, founders of the Urban Detox Club and also Integrative Nutrition grads. Interestingly enough, I remember them doing a mini video segment for our IIN course on the business side of coaching and it’s been fun to get to know them in real life!

In other news, there’s been a bear sighting multiple times in our neighborhood this week! Between that and the coyotes and wild turkeys, I’m beginning to wonder if I’m really in the suburbs of NYC?
