Crazy sites on my run + WIAW

Happy Wednesday! How’s your week going?

My energy is higher, now that the sunshine is back, and my week of nausea seems to be over, too.  Whew!

Over the last few weeks, I’ve been a little more careful when I’m walking or running in a 3-4 mile radius near our house.  Twice I came near three wild turkeys, and then a few other times they were stopping traffic on the road and walking right up to the cars… they have no fear!

I’ve been told they’re very aggressive and so if I see them in their usual spot, I loop back and find a different route.  It’s strange because this is a heavily dense residential area, but there are some green spaces way up the hill.  I assume that’s where they came from.

For What I ate Wednesday, this is the final week of our whole foods reset.  It’s hard to believe it will be over in just a few days! The next one will be mid September, and then I’ll continue to hold them in January and April, so if you missed it, there will be lots of opportunities to join us next time.

Here’s some of what I’ve been eating:

Breakfast:

I’m still snacking on smoothies, almonds and raisins, and yogurt or cheese as we added dairy back in this week.

And now I’m off to give a presentation to a corporation in NYC this morning… wish me luck! :)
