Blog Feed Changes:
First of all, did you see that Google Reader is going away? The two best replacements I’ve heard are either Bloglovin or Feedly. I don’t know if I can recommend one over the other, but both can be a helpful way to organize the blogs you read. (Or you can subscribe in the sidebar to receive posts via email.)
Last year I had the opportunity to attend Fitbloggin and really enjoyed it. I learned a lot about blogging, met up with some good blogging friends, and (possibly the best part) had a weekend just for me.
This year, I decided to try a new conference, and registered for the Blend Retreat in May. Yay!!
I’m excited about this for a number of reasons…
- it’s held in Park City, Utah, (and I’ve never been to Utah!)
- some great blogging friends will also be going (fun!!)
- and I’m thrilled that Drink Chia will be sponsoring me again, so I’ll bring along samples for everyone, yum!

More Life Changes
I edited my post yesterday shortly after it was published, so some of you saw our news and some of you didn’t. Sorry about that! For those of you who missed it, we are moving back to the east coast this summer! Part of the reason for our trip last month was to scope out the area and help us make the decision.
My husband took a job in NYC, so we’ll be heading up there in about a month to figure out housing, and then moving sometime in July. We knew our time in Texas would be short term, and our ultimate goal was to end up closer to family, so we’re excited about it. We’ll be a few hours from both families, and within driving distance from friends in DC, Ithaca, Philly, Lancaster, etc. But we will certainly be sad to leave our community here!
