Almond Chia Protein Fudge

Hey friends!

I’ve still traveling… just made it from Vancouver to Cleveland for a conference this weekend.  It’s been such a refreshing break from reality so far and I’m looking forward to connecting with more friends for fun and business here before heading home.

But I had to pop in and share these amazing bars!

Round two of the Fresh Fix is happening this week… lots of good, fresh food and supportive, encouraging ladies!  We’ve been incorporating Shaklee’s protein (grass fed whey and non GMO raw soy or non soy, water processed) to boost healthy protein options and nutrition.

As with the last round, the ladies are awesome and are finding how simple it can be to substitute junk with healthier options and still enjoy treats, too!

Almond Chia Protein Fudge Bar

I mixed these up last week and had to restrain myself from inhaling the whole pan.  The texture is like fudge and they are so good!

Here’s the simple recipe:

Almond Chia Protein Fudge

by Mommy, Run Fast

  • 3/4 c. creamy almond butter
  • 1/4 c. natural honey
  • 3 Tbsp chia seeds (optional)
  • 1/2 c. organic vanilla protein powder (I used Shaklee Life)

Combine almond butter and honey in a bowl and microwave 30 seconds to melt. Stir well and add in chia seeds and protein.

Spread batter in a glass container and refrigerate. Cut into squares and enjoy!

Let me know if you try it!

Do you have a favorite homemade protein bar or fudge?

Is there a treat you eat every day? Mine is dark chocolate, but most of you already knew that.  🙂

  1. Love how simple this recipe is and YES it would be hard to only eat a piece! I consider my BIG spoonful of nut butter a day to be my treat. I love it and eat a lot of it. It satisfies my sweet tooth cravings. Thanks for sharing this recipe!
