How’s the long weekend going? We had fun hosting two families yesterday- old friends for lunch who were passing through the area on their way to upstate NY and new local friends for the evening. It was a full day of entertaining, grilling, kids playing, and perfect weather to sit outside and relax with our wine.
I also got out for my longest post-Boston run yesterday morning.
On the workout front:
Sunday: 6 miles with the 5k race (21:11)
Monday: am 30DayShred Level 2 + pm 30 minute stroller walk
Tuesday: 5 mile hilly run
Wednesday: 20 minute spin with intervals; push ups + 3 minute plank
Thursday: 6 mile treadmill run with speed (warm up mile, 400m at 5:50 pace, 800m at 6:04 pace, x 3 with 4o0m recovery jogs, cool down)
Saturday: 9.5 run (warm up 9:45 mile, remaining 8.5 at 8:05 average)
My meal plan for the week:
Monday: Picnic/ BBQ at a new-to-us park (Grilled veggies, salmon, chicken, black bean salad, watermelon)
Tuesday: Homemade Sushi
Wednesday: Veggie Frittata + Fresh Sourdough
Thursday: Turkey Sweet Potato Tacos in Collard Greens
Friday: Leftovers/ travel day
Saturday: In PA celebrating my nephew’s first birthday!
Sunday: Travel day
