5 Favorite Spring Posts- Pin It Party

I don’t usually post on Thursdays, but I’m popping in to join my friend Lindsay’s  “pin it” party.  Everyone is invited to share five of their favorite posts and link up with her, and then pin a few posts from others in the link up. If you’re a blogger, feel free to play along!

It’s also a good chance for me to review the last few months, as I’ve gotten out of the habit of a monthly recap. Here are my favorites:

9 High Protein Breakfast Foods and dozens of recipes:

So many of my health coach clients and/or Reset challenge participants ask for ideas to get protein into their morning with more variety.  I shared 9 protein foods (no protein powder in this post) that can be included in breakfast with several recipe ideas for each.  Check it out to expand your own breakfast options!

Maca for Athletes and a Mango Maca Smoothie

Maca has so many benefits for athletes, and a little goes a long way.  Add just 1/2 tsp to 1 tsp to a smoothie such as this mango based one.

How to Grow Your Own Sprouts

It’s surprisingly easy! You don’t even need the special sprouting jars… just a few seeds, a mason jar and time.  Sprouts are one of the most nutritiously dense foods available.

7 Reasons Runners Struggle to Lose Weight

Many people assume the more you run, the easier it is to lose weight but for many women, the opposite is true.  Here are the major reasons some runners struggle:

Quinoa Power Bowl with Lemon Tahini Dressing

I love how versatile this dish is- throw in any of your favorite veggies, beans, or protein.  The lemon tahini dressing is a yummy alternative to the usual oil and vinegar based ones.

Two Strength Workouts for Runners

This is actually number six, but it’s another favorite so I had to throw it in.  I’ve been using this first strength circuit a lot!

If you use and love Pinterest, check out Lindsay’s link up today for lots of great recipes, workouts and posts to pin!

How often do you use Pinterest? What do you pin most often?

  1. My superb mother-in-law loved my idea for our down-the-line future house. She told me, “of course I’ll help! Pin all of the quilts and colors you like, so I have ideas.”

So I’ve been pinning quilt patterns, colors, and random farm house items of late.

It’s a great exercise for opening creativity…like window shopping, but Pin-Shopping?
