It’s another perfect summer weekend so I’ll keep this brief. Hope you’re enjoying lots of time outdoors!
I hit 35 weeks on Friday, and am still feeling good. Here’s the workout recap:
Sunday: 3 short walks, about 5 miles total (visiting parents in PA)
Monday: 5 mile run (9:45 pace)
Tuesday: 20 minute strength circuit + 3 miles walking NYC
Wednesday: 5- 6 miles walking around NYC
Thursday: 5.2 run, so hot!! (10:05 pace)
Saturday: Taught spin class + 10 minute resistance band upper body
Back to meal planning this week!
Sunday: Grilling burgers and eggplant, corn, salads and watermelon
Monday: Tofu Peanut Noodles with cucumbers and broccoli
Wednesday: Bean enchiladas (x2 – working on filling our freezer for post baby!)
Thursday: Spinach Lasagna (x2 again!)
Saturday: Neighbors over for brunch: Veggie Frittata, German Apple Pancake, fruit salad
Participant highlight: Angela from Happy Fit Mama has been part of the link up since day one! Her blog is a fun mix of running and training, recipes, stories of life as a twin mama, and more. We have so much in common- we’ve been planning our meet up for over a year now, and need to make it happen. 🙂
I haven’t decided on the recipes for spinach lasagna or the bean enchiladas for the freezer yet… if you have a favorite, let me know!
